He made the remarks while receiving his counterparts from Sokoto and Bauchi states Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Bala Muhammad; Former Senate President Bukola Saraki and former Managing Director of FSB International Bank Plc, Muhammad Hayatudeen at Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.

“We did it at our last party convention and this is the first time the PDP has succeeded in bringing in the party’s national chairman through a coalition,” he said.
According to him, “Nigerians will take this party seriously if they know that we are all working together to give them a president in a way that everyone can trust; where there is no confrontation between the stakeholders. So, I promise many brothers and sisters that we will work for hand in hand to make this process a success.
“I also said, at home, we will make sure that people understand what we are trying to do. And where there is any suspicion or confusion. We will put a solution on it as soon as we go, ”he said.
In his remarks, Senator Saraki, who said they had gone to Ibadan to brief the Governor on the draft agreement that the four were working on, said the situation in the country was under the current administration. “Only our PDP can create a better future for this country.”
“But we think we must be ready for government in 2023, by uniting ourselves and focusing on it.
“This should not affect our common interests, but those of Nigerians. Of course, we all have our ambitions to be president but we decided in our meeting that we are ready to commit ourselves to the negotiation process.
“The PDP as a party. “Even if anyone who comes out is not able to rebuild this country on his own, he will need the support of all, and we want this process to begin, and that is why we are here.” Saraki ended.
