Bauchi State Government has distributed new vehicles to local government chairmen and traditional rulers
His Excellency the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed today handed over new vehicles to Local Government Leaders and District heads.
Assistant to the Governor for New Media, Lawal Mu’azu Bauchi State, made the remarks.
At the distribution held at Ramat Bauchi, Governor Bala said the distribution followed a request by the Emir of Bauchi for the governor to assist traditional rulers with vehicles.
According to him, the vehicles handed over to the beneficiaries were made to show their gratitude for the development of the state.
He urged them to use the vehicles and assured his government that they would continue to support them to discharge their responsibilities and do their best.
The governor called on the traditional rulers to assist his administration in improving, health, security, and other areas for the rapid development of the state.
In response, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu commended Governor Bala for his generosity and assured him of continued support for the success of his administration.
The issue of vehicles was attended by the Deputy Governor, Senator Baba Tela, SSG, Chief of Staff, Emirs of Bauchi, Katagum, Misau, Ningi, Jama’are, and Dass among others.
