Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has approved the appointment of Usman Bala Muhammad as the new Chief of Staff, who until his appointment was the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information.
The governor then approved the appointment of Muhammad Bello Shehu as the new secretary-general of the State Roads Authority, who is currently the director of research and statistics of the commission.
Ganduje also appointed Magaji Lawan, who until he was appointed General Secretary, was the Director of Public Accounts of the Ministry of Finance, Bilyaminu Gambo Zubairu who is also the PHC Director of Rano Zone as the new Secretary-General of the Commission.
Mairo Audi Dambatta, who until her new appointment was the Director in the Office of the Chief of Staff, is now the General Secretary in the Office.
Ganduje said all the appointments would take effect immediately.
Congratulating them on their new ventures, Governor Ganduje directed them to work hard for the betterment of government.
He added, “You must take it as an integral part of your work, with the use of modern technology in your day-to-day operations.
“Also keep in mind that your record of public service has allowed you to reach this role, so the eyes will be on you to see how you run your duty,” Ganduje said.
