Zamfara State Government has shed more light on the distribution of vehicles to traditional rulers

In a statement issued by the Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Zailani Bappa highlighted the benefits of the distribution of vehicles and the efforts of the Zamfara State Government.

According to the statement, April 6 is the day when His Highness Dr. Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun, Barden Hausa, Shattiman Sakkwato) hosted His Highness Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar 111 in Gusau for two important works at the government palace, which, regularly, represents one of the major responsibilities of running the day-to-day affairs of a society like ours.

There is no doubt that traditional rulers and scholars are the pillars of unity in our society. Their well-being is the goal of the followers.

In this important matter, the dignitary fulfilled the aspirations of these two important authorities by providing the traditional rulers with a proper transportation system and suitable teachers and secretariat who called for easy access to regular meetings for direction and unity for their followers.

These, however, are good for many people, most of whom regard this gesture as a domestic development.

Others have expressed dissatisfaction with the subject. They suggest that the money spent on these should be directed to the Security, IDPs, Health Department, or the education sector.

Good observation. The government will not neglect any part of its responsibility. That is why His Excellency the Governor has procured these vehicles for the Emirs and started supplying 200 new Hilux cars, equipped with communication equipment to all the security forces of the state. This comes with monthly clearances to take care of them and allowances for off-duty officers.

For those who think the money should go to the Health sector, they need to know that what the dignitary has done for the health sector surpasses all previous efforts.

His main goal is to build primary health care facilities in the state. So far, it has built 147 primary health centers with 50 beds in all 147 wards of the state, along with three ambulances for easy access to major health facilities.

Those who have traveled to the education sector must know that in the field of education alone, the esteemed governor has commented on most of the deteriorating issues in the state along with the construction of new ones. So far his government has provided no less than 3,000 classrooms and new ones.

All of these are equipped with improved learning materials. It also employs more than 600 teachers to develop students in our primary schools.

The issue of refugees is a complex one. Than a decade, his government has been in charge for fewer than three years. When he took over the presidency, Forme IG Abubakar’s report showed that there were more than 25,000 orphans and several widows.

The previous administration should have taken the responsibility seriously, but we can still do our best to solve it.

The previous government should have been able to tackle the problem. We can do our best to see that we solve the problem.

I have always said that the issue of refugees is not the sole responsibility of the State Government. It belongs to the Donor Foundation, a group of activist NGOs that have made a name for themselves in the name of public works, for-profit organizations, and charitable organizations.

Opposition allegations against the state government are mounting, but the governor has gone too far in addressing the issue.

In any case, it is the responsibility of every government to ensure that the lives of every citizen are affected to the best of their ability.
