Governor Fintiri is implementing the 4.6-kilometer NYSC road in Girel

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Monday inspected the construction of the 4.6 km road from the ATV junction to the National Youth Service Commission (NYSC) Camp Damare in the Girei Local Government Area.

The contract was awarded in December 2021.

The governor said his government was committed to repairing all the horrible roads and promised to create new ones across the state.

He lamented that previous administrations had neglected the people of the region despite their contribution to the state’s agricultural and economic development.

Fintiri expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the work on the site and commended the contractor for fulfilling the terms of the contract and agreement and for implementing the requirements.

He also called on the residents of the areas to be patient with the problems caused by the project which assured them of completion promptly.

Governor Fintiri vowed that his government would continue to launch other projects even on election day, adding that the incumbent government would launch the construction and renovation of Cottage Schools and Hospitals across the state.

The work done by Mssrs Triacta has reached a critical stage.

The Governor was accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Federal Government, Prof. Maxwell Gidado SAN, the Commissioner for Works, Hon. Adamu Atiku, etc.
