Senator of Benue told Zulum “You are an inspiration to Nigerians”
A senior member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Abba Moro, representing the Benue South constituency, described Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, as an inspiration for good governance and Nigerians are hoping for more leaders like him.
Senator Moro was speaking on Wednesday in Maiduguri when the Senate Committee on Military Affairs, of which he is a member, visited the Government House in Maiduguri, on a visit to Borno to assess military operations and the situation security.
“For those of us who are struggling, you (Governor Zulum) are inspiring. Besides me, I know that many Nigerians are interested in you because what is bothering our society today is how to use and manage what we have for the benefit of the majority of Nigerians ”.
“If there is a leader that Nigerians will mention who has accepted the position and he refuses to accept the challenge of that position, it is Zulum. Under your leadership, Nigerians hope to have more of you in Nigeria today. ” Said, Senator Abba Moro.
The Senate Committee on the Armed Forces, chaired by Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, paid a courtesy call on Governor Zulum. The senator commended him for his support to the force to the extent that the commanders made it clear that they were getting a lot of support without asking the governor.
