The Plateau State Governor and Chairman of the Venue / Site Working Committee of the recently concluded All Progressives Congress National Convention, Simon Lalong have congratulated the newly elected party leaders led by former Nasarawa State Governor Sen. Abdullahi Adamu rejoices in their presence.

Lalong while congratulating them on their election said the APC had proved all skeptics wrong by organizing a quality exercise without any uprising which made it continue to produce leadership in Nigeria in the coming years.
He also expressed the hope that the new APC leadership under Senator Abdullahi Adamu would provide good leadership and encouragement to all party members. He urged them to play an active role in shaping the party’s development strategy in the next step.
According to Governor Lalong, “Senator Abdullahi Adamu has brought a basket full of political experience over the years which will go a long way in ensuring the stability of the party ahead of the 2023 elections and can unite the members of the party.
“APC our great party will strengthen its coalition and strength, especially with the strong compromise that the newly elected party national chairman has commenced with other party stakeholders before the All Progressive Congress (APC) convention, Abuja.”
Lalong also lauded the role played by President Muhammadu Buhari before the convention which created a conducive environment with the leadership of the APC members in prioritizing the party’s interests over their ambitions.
This leadership by the president, according to Governor Lalong, has ensured that the party does not break the deadlock as some members of the opposition have predicted that the conversation will not be successful.
Governor Lalong also commended the National Planning Commission for its role in ensuring the smooth running of the project regardless of the many challenges faced along the way.
He also thanked the members of his committee for their dedicated work in ensuring that the work was carried out without any challenges.
The governor also used the occasion to urge the members of the APC in Plateau State to remain united and work hard for the party’s development over the years. and all it can take to keep hold of power and win elections in the future.
