Senator Barau Ibrahim Jibrin, who represents North Kano in the Nigerian Senate, has said that if the people of Kano State elect him as Governor in the 2023 general election, he will form a system of government that will involve all parts of the state.
Senator Barau made his remarks on Saturday while inaugurating his campaign committees for 44 local government areas in the state.
He also said that as long as he wins the governorship of Kano, there is no doubt that the party and the government will not be under the control of the minority as it is now.
Senator Barau thanked the people of Kano State for their support and prayers for his dream of becoming the Governor of Kano State in 2023.
During the meeting, former Kano State Deputy Governor, Prof. Hafiz Abubakar was confirmed as the Chairman of Senator Barau’s 2023 Campaign Committee.
The meeting was also attended by the APC faction of Senator Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Zago, and members of the Kano State House of Assembly for Rimin Gado, Tofa, Dagwai, and Shanon Local Government Areas.
Also in attendance were former Kano State APC Women Chairperson, Hajiya Habiba Garba Dandallah, Alhaji Aliyu Yusuf Tumfafi, and other prominent Kano State politicians.
