A delegation led by the National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Bala Lau, paid a courtesy call on Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu at the Government House, Kebbi.

According to the delegation leader, they went to the Government House to thank the governor for the peace and development of the state and thanked the governor for collecting N50,000,000.00 from the state as a contribution to As-Salam Global University Hadejia, Jigawa State.
He also informed the state governor on the resolution of disputes within the JIBWIS Kebbi State leadership and the introduction of new state leaders.
In his response, Kebbi State Governor Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu thanked the delegation for the visit and thanked JIBWIS for its support to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Kebbi State Government. The governor also thanked the JIBWIS for their blessings and support.
Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu led Sheikh Bala Lau and other leaders of Izala to the Banquet Hall of the Government House where they offered special prayers for the released students as well as the lecturer of the Federal Government College, Yauri.
Bala Lau after discussions with the students and the released teacher commended the state government for its efforts in rescuing the students.
Sheikh Bala Lau thanked Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for fulfilling his promise of N50 million to the Al-Qalam University Fund in Hadeija.
President Izala suggested holding regular consultations between Governors and religious leaders to seek solutions to security, economic, administrative, and political challenges.
His delegation includes the Secretary of Izala National Union Sheikh Muhammad Kabiru Haruna Gombe.
The keynote speakers presented a letter of thanks to the Chairman of the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.
